Design Process
Natural light is one of the most powerful materials in architecture. It changes by the hour and by the season, bringing movement and depth to static forms.
We study how light enters a space—its angle, intensity, and duration—and then shape openings, surfaces, and volumes around it. Deep reveals, screens, and overhangs help us modulate glare and heat while preserving softness.
Good daylighting is not only beautiful; it is functional and restorative. It improves comfort, reduces energy use, and strengthens the emotional connection between interior spaces and the world outside.
